In February of 2009 T&K Marine Electronics began its operation in Mattapoisett, MA working out of the owners’ basement. We quickly outgrew the space and from September 2009 to early 2016 we were located on Middle street in Fairhaven, MA. To accommodate our continued growth in April 2016 we moved to our current larger location at 54 Wright Street in New Bedford, MA.
Before opening T&K Marine Electronics its founder, Tony Vieira, had been working in the marine electronics industry as a technician, installer and shop manager. Tony has over 25 years experience trouble shooting, assessing replacement of failed parts or equipment, repairing equipment and installing new equipment.
T&K Marine Electronics’ product lines, services and customer base are rapidly growing. Our clients’ vessels include commercial fishing, sport fishing, passenger vessels and pleasure craft.

Tony VieiraTony has been in the marine electronics industry since 1987. He graduated from Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational High School with a certificate in electronics. While in High School he gained new skills working for a local marine electronics company. Tony gained further experience while serving in the US Navy from 1992 to 1998.
Karen overseas the administrative operations of the company and provides dedicated customer service. She brings over 25 years experience of working in the accounting, finance, customer service and information systems fields.
